Before the new restrictions, the police spread a wave of illegal groups Coronavirus outbreak

Police in riot gear stormed a rally on Friday, removing hundreds of protesters by truck. Police in riot gear stormed a rally on Friday, removing hundreds of protesters by truck.

Greater Manchester Police said they had stopped illegal gatherings at properties in Ultricham and Flixton on Saturday night, as well as a huge gathering of about 70 people in Motram.

The current rules only apply to groups over the age of 30, so a fixed penalty notice was issued in each case.

Hours after the intervention, officials attended a rally at an address in Stockport where 45 people were present, and another address in North Manchester where they had been invited to the previous two events.

Earlier, Nottinghamshire police fined a teenager ১০ 10,000 for hosting a house party in Lenton, which was seen gathering more than 50 guests at a house on Harlactsson Drive. If the 19-year-old fails to pay the fine or contest, he will appear in court, the force said.

Assistant Chief Constable Steve Cooper from Nottinghamshire Police warned anyone to think about hosting parties before the change on Monday – when social gatherings in England will be limited to groups of six both indoors and outdoors – to think again or face the consequences.

“We all need to remember that we are still in the midst of a global epidemic and we all need to take responsibility for our actions.

“I would like to send a clear message to anyone who is deliberately thinking of hosting parties tonight or tomorrow night, please do not do this before changing the rules.

“We are not afraid to use the full power we have and we will not tolerate those who deliberately endanger other people’s lives.”
