DELPHI — Laura Wildman backed her pickup truck out of a private lane on Carroll County Road 550 South and into a ditch east of Pyrmont.
Wildman died after she became pinned under the truck as she tried to get out of it, according to the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office, which received a report of a truck in a ditch at 9:12 a.m. Tuesday.
Wildman, 46, attempted to get out of the truck while it was still moving and was knocked down by the open driver’s side door, according to the sheriff’s office.
She was pinned under the truck and later was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the sheriff’s office.
