The 11 News I-Team uncovered new details in the investigation of a pickup truck driver who is accused of hitting several bicyclists in Baltimore.The driver, Brian Adams, 32, of Red Lion, Pennsylvania, faces attempted murder and assault charges for allegedly hitting the bicyclists on Eastern Avenue on Aug. 21. At the time, about 300 cyclists were taking part in a group ride.According to court charging documents, witnesses said the driver of the truck drove across the double-yellow line and pinned a rider between the truck and another pickup truck.As other bike bicyclists tried to flag down the driver, Adams is accused of accelerating and crossing the double-yellow line again, hitting two more people.Police have recovered security camera video in the investigation. Adams was arrested Tuesday and is awaiting extradition back to Baltimore.
