CRIME REPORTS INCLUDE ATTEMPTED SHOPLIFTING, DUI

WHITE TOWNSHIP

State Police are searching for a man who tried to steal more than $1,200 worth of merchandise from the White Township Walmart store yesterday afternoon.

 

The suspect is a white male who was wearing a red ball cap, blue tee shirt, blue jeans, and a blue medical mask.  As he tried to leave the store just before 2:30 PM with a cart full of items, he was approached by store personnel and he pushed the cart away and ran, getting into a tan Chevrolet pickup truck and fleeing.

 

CHERRYHILL TOWNSHIP

State police took a Clarksburg man into custody last Saturday night after a traffic stop at Allen Bridge Road and Camp Faith Road in Cherryhill Township.

 

Police say 21-year-old Robert Buskey was pulled over for driving violations and was found to be under the influence of both alcohol and drugs.  He was arrested for driving under the influence and possession of a controlled substance.
