Day 19 of protests in Louisville

WLKY Chopper HD is flying over another day of protests. Here’s what we’ve seen so far on Monday. Officers in riot gear lined up downtown around 5:20 p.m. when they were quickly met by a line of protesters.The officers backed up to a parking lot where they were face-to-face with a line of people.At West Jefferson and 9th streets, protesters threw landscaping cinder blocks into the road and moving signs to block vehicles from getting through.One person threw a block at a WLKY vehicle.We watched a truck drive clear through the grass with nowhere else to go.Around 6:10 p.m., multiple TARC buses were stuck behind each other, unable to get through where protesters had set up cones. They have since moved, it appears.Several people are just walking into the middle of intersections, but the crowds remain sparse. Not big masses as we’ve seen some days.Around 7 p.m., LMPD said it was sending SWAT to where people are stuck in vehicles. WLKY will continue to update this story.
