A driver was injured and cows were trapped after a truck crashed and rolled over on Berthong Road near Burley Griffith Way, Cootamundra this afternoon. Fire and Rescue NSW crews got the call at around 3pm and rushed to the site, where the driver was treated on-scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics. The truck was carrying a two-level trailer full of cattle when it rolled over, trapping the cows on the bottom deck. At the time of writing firefighters are currently working to free the cattle with the guidance of an on-scene vet. NSW Police are currently on site and controlling traffic along Berthong Road and Burley Griffin Way, both of which are affected. Police are urging drivers to remain cautious while driving through that area.
