A local woman has been charged with robbery after stealing a car at the Collins Bay rail crossing.

At approximately 6 a.m. on Sunday, Jul. 19, 2020, a CN rail employee, who was operating rig equipment on the tracks just west of the Collins Bay Road rail crossing, observed the accused female enter the booth of his rig. The accused appeared to be in distress and was yelling and screaming at him before quickly exiting the booth and jumping off of the slow moving rig.
