Garbage Truck Crash Closes Doylestown Intersection

DOYLESTOWN, PA — Police are on the scene of a garbage truck crash in Doylestown Township. Police said the crash happened around 7:45 a.m. Thursday at Lower State and New Britain roads.

The truck crashed, taking down wires and the traffic signal, police said. Traffic is detoured and drivers should avoid the area.

There was no immediate word if anyone was injured in the crash. Check back for updates.
