Man, 24, killed after pickup trucks collide north of Stratford

One man is dead after two pickup trucks collided head-on north of Stratford.

The two-vehicle crash happened on Harriston Road near Howick-Minto Townline around 6:30 a.m. Wednesday, Huron County OPP said.

The driver of one of the pickups, identified as Brian Cox, 24, of Clifford, died at the scene, while the other driver was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police said.

Investigators had closed a section of Harriston Road between Malcolm Line and School Road. Motorists were asked to avoid the area.
