The following information is compiled from Red Bluff Police Department, Red Bluff Fire, Tehama County Sheriff’s Department, Corning Police Department, Corning Fire, Cal Fire and California Highway Patrol logs.

Animals

Kirkwood Road near Flournoy Avenue: A German shepherd was found around 12:30 p.m. Monday just south of the intersection.

Al Fresco Avenue: A steer was found in an in-ground pool around 2:45 p.m. Monday.

SR 99E near South Avenue: A poodle was running in and out of the road around 3:30 p.m. Monday.

Stanmar Drive: A live trap was requested to assist in catching an opossum living under a shed.

Solano Street: A black pit bull mix with a white chest and a collar escaped about 8:30 a.m. Monday.

Arrests

John Cornelis Poldervaart: 51, of Orland was arrested Monday and charged with evading a peace officer with wanton disregard for safety. Bail was $18,000.

Disturbance

Vestal Road: A man and woman were in a fight around 6 p.m. Monday.

Washington Street: About 6:45 a.m. Monday a woman coming off drugs was causing a disturbance.

Shots

Capay Road: Four shots were heard around 10:30 a.m. Monday.

Missing

Cascade Avenue: A girl, 13, was reported as a runaway about 9:45 a.m. Monday. She is about 5’3” and weighs about 150 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. She was last seen at 11:30 p.m. Sunday in gray sweatpants and a gray T-shirt.

Suspicious

South Avenue: An acquaintance was banging on the windows of a trailer around 2:30 a.m. Monday at Woodson Bridge RV Park trying to get inside. She had stayed at the trailer for several days, but the owner no longer wanted her there.

Taft Street: A woman was admonished for screaming behind a residence about 8:15 p.m. Monday.

Solano Street: A man was parked at SavMor for 30 minutes around 9:45 p.m. Monday, ducking his head every time someone walked by his vehicle. He said he was waiting for his wife to come out of the store.

Luther Road: A prowler was heard about 11:15 p.m. Monday.

Thefts

South Avenue: A shoplifter from McCoy’s Hardware was detained in the Love’s truck stop parking lot. The Santa Rosa man, 38, was arrested.

Main Street: A man stole two Grayco paint sprayers and an Echo leaf blower, valued about $1,648, Monday from The Home Depot.

Trespassing

Deborah Drive: A resident at the Phoenix Apartments reported about 9:45 a.m. Monday a man was trespassing and had vandalized the complex Sunday evening. The Red Bluff man, 35, was arrested.

Solano Street: A trespassing admonishment was issued about 9 a.m. Monday to a transient woman at the Corning 7-11 store who was refusing to leave.

Mission Drive: A Corning homeowner requested a civil standby to changes locks on the residence due to transient activity that had been occurring. No transients were inside the residence when officers arrived about 3 p.m. Monday.

Solano Street: A man was admonished for banging on the doors of the Hometown Cafe in Corning and misuse of city power about 6:45 a.m. Monday. He became verbally hostile when contacted.

Antelope Boulevard: A trespass admonishment was issued about 5:45 a.m. Monday to a man at the Valero gas station refusing to leave.
