The following list includes recent reports from the Midland County Sheriff’s Office and the Midland Police Department. Compiled by reporter Mitchell Kukulka.
Thursday, June 18
10:42 p.m. — A deputy assisted EMS in Hope Township with a 73-year-old man, who was involved in a farming accident.
10:19 p.m. — Officers responded to a vehicle crash in the area of East Sugnet Road and Jefferson Avenue.
9 p.m. — A deputy assisted Midland Police with a criminal sexual conduct investigation.
8:56 p.m. — A deputy was dispatched to a Jerome Township residence in reference to a harassment complaint. A 30-year-old woman said her 33-year-old ex-boyfriend and his 26-year-old girlfriend have been driving by her house and yelling at her out the window. All parties involved agreed to stop communicating with each other.
5:29 p.m. — A deputy assisted a Michigan State Police trooper with an intoxicated driver investigation.
5:28 p.m. — A deputy was checking a Homer Township location for a black Chevrolet pickup truck for Midland Police after an incident occurred in the City of Midland. The deputy located a vehicle matching the description and a traffic stop was initiated. The 51-year-old male driver was not involved with the incident, however, the driver was found to have a suspended driver’s license, and a citation was issued.
5:20 p.m. — Deputies euthanized a rabid raccoon at a Geneva Township location.
5:10 p.m. — A deputy responded to the City of Coleman after a 51-year-old woman reported her autistic 18-year-old son was acting disorderly. The woman requested her son be transported to the MidMichigan Medical Center ER by EMS for a mental health evaluation.
4:25 p.m. — A 76-year-old Lincoln Township woman reported an unknown person spit tobacco inside of her car while the window was down. The woman requested extra patrol.
3:57 p.m. — Officers responded to a case of felony domestic assault in the Norwich Court.
1:04 p.m. — Deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash in Larkin Township.
7:29 a.m. — Officers responded to a car-deer crash in the area of U.S.-10 and Jefferson Avenue.
4:40 a.m. — Officers responded to a report of criminal sexual conduct in the 300 block of Walter Court.
12:57 a.m. — A deputy responded to a car-deer crash on an Edenville Township roadway.
