A motorcyclist has died after colliding with a pickup truck on an east Yorkshire road.
The 34-year-old man died in hospital on Sunday, August 9.
The collision, which happened on the A166 Garrowby Hill, near Hill Top Farm, on Thursday, August 6, occurred between the motorcycle and a Ford Ranger pick-up truck.
The man was taken to hospital for treatment to life-threatening injuries and sadly died on Sunday.
Police have appealed for witnesses who may have seen the collision to come forward.
A spokeswoman for the force said: “We are appealing for witnesses to a collision that happened on Thursday, August 6 at around 3.40pm on the A166 Garrowby Hill, near to Hill Top Farm.
“The collision involved a grey Ford Ranger pick-up truck and a silver-coloured Triumph motorcycle.
“The motorcyclist, a 34-year-old man, was taken to hospital for treatment however sadly died from his injuries yesterday (Sunday 9 August).
“The driver of the truck was not injured in the collision.”
Anyone who saw the collision, or either vehicle beforehand and can help investigators should call 101 quoting the log number 344 of August 6.
