NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla. – A pickup truck parked outside a North Fort Myers home was intentionally set on fire, according to North Fort Myers fire.
The arson attack happened early Wednesday morning on Marx Drive in Suncoast Estates.
According to the incident report, the victim told a Lee County deputy they had no enemies. They recently purchased a business which the victim thinks upset the seller’s girlfriend.
It’s unclear if investigators have pinpointed any suspects.
State investigators with the Bureau of Fire and Arson are now looking into the case to uncover details about the suspicious fire.
