The owner of a pickup truck lost more than a vehicle when it was stolen from the driveway of a home in Innisfil.

The theft happened in the early morning hours of June 4, 2020 in the 25th Sideroad and Line 9 area.

South Simcoe Police said assorted tools and fishing gear worth several thousands of dollars were inside the vehicle when it was stolen.

Police have issued an appeal to the public to help solve the theft.

The stolen vehicle is described as:

  • 2105, white, GMC Sierra Denali 2500
  • Ontario licence #AT18606
  • Black tinted windows
  • Black back rack
  • “Hooked” decal
  • White silhouette of scuba diver decal
  • I “heart” Fishing Simcoe decal
  • Protruding rims, matte black; Rockstar Nitto mud grapplers
