Dramatic development in horror crash that left four hero cops dead as police raid truck company that employs accused driver
The trucking company involved in a deadly crash on a freeway which killed four police officers has been raided by police.
Police raided the offices of Connect Logistics in the Riverstone Business Park in Sydney – one of two warrants executed across the city’s north-west on Tuesday.
Truck driver Mohinder Singh allegedly slammed into the back of a highway patrol car in a vehicle which bore the company’s livery while driving at 100km/h on Melbourne’s Eastern Freeway on April 22.
Footage showed officers from Victoria’s Heavy Vehicle Unit Crime Investigation Unit swarm the company’s offices – accompanied by NSW Traffic and Highway Patrol Command Crash investigators.
