One woman is dead after getting hit by a vehicle on the North Side Sunday night.
San Antonio police said a homeless woman was walking near the 1700 block of Austin Highway around 11:30 p.m., when she was hit by a pickup truck.

The driver had stopped to help the woman but she died at the scene.
