HARBOR BEACH — The annual Harbor Beach truck show was canceled last month, due to concerns surrounding the pandemic.
That did not stop the blue collar workforce from improvising to organize a caravan truck show and people from coming out to watch. Trucks lineup at 3:30 p.m. at Harbor Beach City Hall before driving off at 4 p.m. across the county.
Organizer Robby Iseler said the group decided to do this instead of the truck show to help maintain social distancing between viewers. That way, they could still show their semis off to the public.
Last week, Iseler said he had 20 to 30 trucks ready to go. That number certainly grew by Saturday afternoon.
