1.05pm ONE person will be taken to hospital with lower body injuries. The patient has been loaded in the ambulance and is in a stable condition, Ambulance Victoria has confirmed. The person will be taken to Bendigo hospital in a road ambulance. Paramedics were called to the crash at about 12.10pm. 12.55pm VICROADS is urging people to avoid the area as crews respond to the rollover. It is unclear whether police on the ground are diverting traffic. Vicroads staff have not begun their own roadblocks but is warning that the crash is taking place between Urquhart Street and Bridgewater-Maldon Road. Earlier EMERGENCY crews are at the scene of a truck rollover in Newbridge. A B-double is understood to have tipped over. It is believed to be carrying urea. Fire crews are considering how to clean up spilled cargo, as well as diesel that has leaked from the truck. The driver has been able to get out of the truck. Ambulance Victoria is on scene and is believed to be assessing the truck driver, who has been able to leave the vehicle.
