[UPDATE 10:53 p.m.] Pickup Truck on Fire in Eureka; Ambulance Responding – Redheaded Blackbelt

At approximately 10:40, a grey pickup struck signs at the Patriot Station at the corner of E and Harris Streets in Eureka and then burst into flames.

The pickup was fully involved in flames when the first personnel arrived on scene, according to a report one made to dispatch.

The first personnel on scene also reported that one person had a head injury and needed an ambulance CODE 3 (with lights and siren).

UPDATE 10:53 p.m.: According to traffic over the scanner, the fire has been extinguished and the patient is being taken to the hospital with moderate injuries.
