Highway 97 is now open to single-vehicle alternating traffic following a vehicle incident involving a crane truck and flatbed semi-truck which closed the highway for a number of hours.
The incident occurred between Hush Lake Road and Olson Road, which is 27km north of Quesnel. Drive B.C. says to expect delays.

If you’re headed out on highway 97, be warned the road is closed in both directions between Hush Lake Road and Olson Road, which is 27km north of Quesnel because of a vehicle incident.
Witnesses say the incident involves a crane truck and a flatbed semi-truck that was towing a pickup.
Drive B.C. says the assessment is in progress and no detour is available.
