WEST FARGO — Neighbors said they heard sirens around midnight and saw a pickup truck driving slowly, followed by several police cars.
Anthony Rome, who was working from home when he heard the sirens, said it didn’t seem like a typical chase.
“It’s a quiet little neighborhood, you don’t see much,” Rome said. “It didn’t look like it was high speed, but I’m no expert. Just some random vehicle with some cop cars chasing it, even a few were just dragging behind with their lights on.”
People said the truck started north of Legion Lane West and turned onto 12th Street West. The vehicle drove over sidewalks and left the neighborhood at the roundabout on 26th Avenue.
West Fargo Police Department did not confirm if the vehicle was stopped or if they have identified a suspect. No arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing.
