Route 419 in Marion Township was closed for more than two hours Friday afternoon after the collision of a car and a pickup truck.
Details about the crash were unavailable Friday from Tulpehocken Township police, who also patrol Marion Township, but an officer on duty Saturday said the car was traveling northbound, reportedly at a high speed, when it collided in the southbound lane with the southbound pickup truck about 2:30 p.m.
A woman was flown to Reading Hospital.
The names of the drivers were not available.
Route 419 was closed between Host and Christmas Village roads until the crash scene was cleared about 4:45 p.m.
